Singers - Musicians - Poets

Non Guest nights were held in the Folk Bar on the 1st Thursday of every month and in the Bothal Suite on the 3rd Thursday of every month, commencing 20:30 (that's half past eight in old money!). The club continues to meet, now fortnightly from 3rd January 2008. See our Forward Diary. Come along and perform or just listen. All styles and abilities welcomed. There is a mixture of residents and visitors performing everything from traditional folk to contemporary music, blues, classics, country and poetry.

We start at 8:30 prompt - latecomers may be disappointed...

On 20th December (jiva's last night in charge) we had 17 performers, 30 songs and tunes and poems as well as a speech or two and a presentation... Read all about it in the 20th December review.

Special Guest Nights

Held in either the Folk Bar or Bothal Suite, and sometimes in the Main Hall - individual dates as announced, so check our Forward Diary often.

Thursday 15th November was another special night for the Club - almost at the end of jiva's fourth year running the club, special guest Allan Taylor (with support slot by jiva) gave a truly wonderful performance to a very appreciative audience... Read all about it in the 15th November review.

Spotlight

We decided to discontinue our spotlight feature during 2007, so it was only fitting that our final spotlight on 21st December 2006 featured jiva who have been running the club since February 2004.
